Program description of Bsc. Archaeological Tourism

The frequent changes and developments of society and to the labor market, along with the globalization process, requires qualified specialists in the recognition and evaluation of archaeological, architectural and historical heritage. This program is designed to deliver students the necessary professional skills in a way that enable the realization of a tourist package on known archaeological sites and parks. The study program of BSc in “Management of Archaeological Tourism” creates a variety of career opportunities in the professional and academic field. At the same time, it offers employment opportunities in the private and public sectors, because this program creates complete knowledge on heritage law, heritage preservation, valorization and promotion of archaeological sites and museum open air.

The main purpose of this study program is to bring to market professionals with the right qualifications and knowledge in the fields of management of archaeological sites, archaeological parks, cultural ensembles, cultural monuments, archaeological artifacts, museums, and museums ensembles.
